Browns Restaurants Seek Charity of The Year

Browns Restaurants on Bond’s Hill and Strand Road are seeking a Charity of the Year to support throughout 2017.

Committed to providing the community with the finest cuisine in the north west, they wish to support a charity which has the community at its heart.

Chef Ian Orr said:  “We are committed to the local community and we currently help a range of local charities.  For 2017 we want to concentrate our fundraising efforts on assisting one charity to help them make a real difference.”

It is expected that the successful charity will work in partnership with Browns Restaurants to involve staff in fundraising activities to maximise the impact of the exclusive relationship.

Charities wishing to be considered as Browns Charity of the Year 2017 must be registered and relevant to the local community.  They should have a dedicated point of contact available to work alongside Browns for the benefit of the relationship and not have an existing relationship or intention to embark on a relationship with any other hospitality outlet in the north west during the partnership.  The fundraising efforts should be concentrated on a unique project exclusive to Browns Restaurants.

An application can be requested by emailing eat@brownsrestaurant.com.  Completed applications should be submitted on or before Friday 25 November at 5pm.  A shortlist of five charities will be invited to present to the management team and the Browns Charity of the Year will be appointed by January 2017.
